Journey of Nokia

Nokia the largest smartphone making company it start about 25 years ago still now it is the top of all smartphone company!
1987 – This year Nokia release the first mobile handset Mobira Cityman, it cost about $10,000, its weight about 800g. This mobile phone used by soviet leader Gorbachev, nicknamed 'Gorba'.
1991 – Nokia publishes a new handset which has the multi tasking OS that evolves into Symbian. Psion 3, not a Nokia but the debut of EPOC, EPOC is rumored to mean 'Electronic Piece of Cheese'.
1992 - Nokia release the first mass-produced GSM which also know 2G phone. Nokia 1011 is developing by Nokia, which means better call, text and data performance.
1994 – This year Nokia introduce Nokia 2100 the first phone which Nokia use the Tune ringtone? The ringtone sound tracked for the next decade. Almost 20 million handsets were sold, for this song.
1996 - Nokia 9000 was the first communicator which runs a PC operating system GEOS v.3. One in the eye of Microsoft and its lamentable Windows CE.

2000 – First colour phone of Nokia 9210 with symbian, communicator popular among both high flying business geeks and techy gadgetz editors to be.
2002 – Nokia7650 it were the first mobile of Nokia which have built in camera and colour screen. With third party apps and a multi-tasking OS, it is (in concept if not in design) the godfather of today's smartphones.

2006 - Nokia N80 is very small smartphone with many features like 3.1 MP camera, video-calling and Wi-Fi and also internet browsing. 2007 - Nokia 5310, with music. Then it most popular phone ever get.
2007 - Nokia N95 were the king of smartphones it has all the quality of a smartphone like Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS and a 5MP camera.
2007 - Nokia N82, a much loved smartphone of the old school and the first phone with a proper xenon flash. The world's best camera phone for a bit.
2008 - First touch screen phone Nokia 5800, Instead of a capacitive touch screen it uses inferior poke-and-prod resistive tech.
2009 – Nokia X6 after two years of iPhone, with touch screen mobile phone comes out in the market.
2010 - Nokia N8, the improved Symbian 3 makes its debut on an aluminium-clad phone with HD video, 12MP camera and HDMI out. Between its announcement and release, Apple unveils the iPhone 4. It's still the best camphone, but the clunky interface shows why Nokia had to draft in Windows Phone 7
2011 - Nokia X7 (Symbian) Symbian will continue to power Nokia's midrange handsets long after Windows Phone 7 handsets appear. It's been polished up with an improved webkit browser and interface tweaks, given a pleasant new name (Anna) and found a spanky new vessel in the X7, with its 4in screen and 8MP cam.
2011 - Nokia WP7 phone, the first fruit of the union between Microsoft and Nokia is due later this year running Windows Phone 7 with a Nokia skin. The Finns are aiming to hit a 'very low price' with their first WP7 phone so a mid range handset is a better than a pricey, WP7-powered N8.
